The Arab Spring which has become an Arab winter has literally shaken the entire Arab world.
Reports from some of the worst affected countries are very encouraging as conversions to Christ
have sky rocketed and have reached never before seen levels. This workshop analyzes the
historical, cultural and religious factors that led to this new openness to the gospel.



Cambodia: Heart and Perspective on Sex Trafficking - Ratanak International

We will explore Cambodia’s recent history of the genocide in the 1970’s and how it has
contributed to the issues facing Cambodia today, particularly the issue of sex trafficking. Sheri, a
human services worker with 23 years’ experience working with disadvantaged people and domestic
violence, will share about her travels to Cambodia and how she was impacted. She will also relate
how God, through the work of Ratanak, continues to work in the lives of the people of Cambodia
in amazing ways.

The biggest cause of death and disease in the world is drinking dirty water, but it is the easiest to
fix. Barry will talk about how he got into the “water business”. The technologies he presents are
simple and sustainable and useful for all mission agencies incorporating clean water as an aspect
of their program. World economists rank “giving clean water to poor villages” as the most
effective use of donor dollars.
